Crocker Jr. Hearing Room, 2nd Floor, 367 Main Street, Hyannis. The meeting will be televised live via Xfinity Channel 8 or high-definition Channel 1072. It may also be accessed via the Government Access Channel live stream on the Town of Barnstable’s website: http://streaming85.townofbarnstable.us/CablecastPublicSite/watch/1?channel=1 CALL TO ORDER – Introduction of Board Members and Staff NOTICE OF RECORDING – This meeting of the Barnstable Licensing Authority is being recorded and broadcast on the Town of Barnstable’s Government Access Channel. In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30A, Section 20, the Chair must inquire whether anyone else is recording this meeting and, if so, to please make their presence known. PUBLIC COMMENT APPROVAL OF MINUTES - December 18, 2024 PUBLIC HEARINGS 1. New Annual Common Victualler An application was filed by Bread and Roses, 302 Main Street, Hyannis, for a new common victualler license. Indoor seating for 15. Proposed daily hours of operation 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. 2. New Seasonal Wine & Malt Common Victualler An application was filed by Island Café & Grill Express, LLC dba Island Café & Grill Express, 480 Barnstable Road, Hyannis, for a new seasonal wine and malt common victualler license. Inside seating for 36, patio seating for 12. Proposed daily hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Proposed alcohol licensed manager is Erica Sterling. TEMPORARY & PERMENANT CLOSURES Blue Moon Temporary Closure from 01/01/25 – 04/01/25 Due to seasonal slowdown CONSENT AGENDA 1. Renewal - Special One Day Malt License An application was filed by Cape Cod Maritime Museum, 135 South Street, Hyannis, to host History on Tap, wherein they propose to serve malt beverages on the following dates and times: March 6, 2025, March 20, 2025, April 3, 2025, and April 17, 2025. All events are scheduled to take place between 5pm and 7pm. Current TIPS certification is on file. LICENSING UPDATES 1. Licensing Authority & Division Updates a. Discussion regarding December 2024, and January 2025, advisories issued by the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission. b. 2025 Annual Alcohol Compliance Meeting 2. Police Department Updates Next two meetings: February 26, 2025, and March 26, 2025 MATTERS NOT REASONABLY ANTICIPATED BY THE CHAIR The list of matters, are those reasonably anticipated by the president/chair, which may be discussed at the meeting. Not all items listed may in fact be discussed and other items not listed may in fact be discussed and other items not listed may also be brought up for discussion to the extent permitted by law. It is possible that if it so votes, the sub-committee may go into executive session. For your information the section of the M.G.L. that pertains to postings of meetings is as follows: Except in an emergency, in addition to any notice otherwise required by law, a public body shall post notice of every meeting at least 48 hours prior to such meeting, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays. In an emergency, a public body shall post notice as soon as reasonably possible prior to such meeting. Notice shall be printed in a legible, easily understandable format and shall contain: the date, time and place of such meeting and a listing of topics that the chair reasonably anticipates will be discussed at the meeting.
