5. Public Hearing: Straightway and Hyannisport Water Treatment Facility Improvements
Development of Regional Impact Exemption: The Cape Cod Commission will hold a virtual public
hearing to consider the following Development of Regional Impact (DRI) Exemption request
submitted pursuant to Section 12(k) of the Cape Cod Commission Act, as amended. At this hearing,
the Commission will discuss the following project and may vote whether to approve the DRI
Exemption.
Project: Straightway and Hyannisport Water Treatment Facility Improvements (CCC
File No: 24029)
Project Applicant: Town of Barnstable, MA
Property Owner: Town of Barnstable, MA

Project Description: The Project proposes to expand and improve the Straightway and
Hyannisport Water Treatment Facilities. The proposal includes winterization
of existing facilities to allow year-round use, construction of a new +/- 11,000-
square foot water treatment facility, replacement of certain existing wells,
and stormwater infrastructure improvements.
6. Public Hearing: Chase Brook Park Restoration and Pedestrian Bridge Development of
Regional Impact Exemption: The Cape Cod Commission will hold a virtual public hearing to
consider the following Development of Regional Impact (DRI) Exemption request submitted
pursuant to Section 12(k) of the Cape Cod Commission Act, as amended. At this hearing, the
Commission will discuss the following project and may vote whether to approve the DRI
Exemption.
Project: Chase Brook Park Restoration and Pedestrian Bridge (CCC File No: 24024)
Project Applicant: Town of Yarmouth, MA
Property Owner: Town of Yarmouth, MA
Project Location: 261, 275, and 281 Route 28, Yarmouth, MA 02673
Map/Parcel: 37-61, 37-60 and 38-1
Project Description: The Applicant proposes to connect the existing Chase Brook Park and Mill
Creek through the former Yankee Village Motel property (which is currently
vacant) to create a contiguous conjoined park along Route 28 in West
Yarmouth, MA.
7. Procedural Denial, 0 Boxberry Hill Road, Falmouth, MA: The proposed Development of Regional
Impact is currently pending before the Cape Cod Commission. The Commission will consider and
may vote whether to procedurally deny the Project without prejudice pursuant to Section 13 of
Chapter A, the Enabling Regulations Governing Developments of Regional Impact.

Project Applicant: Frederick K. Jensen and Sheila N. Jensen

Project Description: The Applicant proposes to divide an existing 38.32-acre lot into four new lots
at 0 Boxberry Hill Road, Falmouth, MA. The new lots will range in size from
1,423,018 square feet to 80,090 square feet. The division is proposed on a
parcel subject to two prior Development of Regional Impact Decisions, dated
1999 and 2000: see Boxberry Hill Road Subdivision (File No. 99001) and
Yuricich ANR (File No. 20006).
