Re: Petition of Park City Wind LLC pursuant to G.L. c. 40A, § 3, for Individual
and Comprehensive Exemptions from the Operation of the Zoning Ordinance
of the Town of Barnstable, Massachusetts, D.P.U. 24-48
Dear Ms. Brigham:
On February 10, 2025, the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities (“DPU”)
issued the enclosed Final Order in the above-docketed matter. That Final Order approved a
petition by Park City Wind LLC (“Park City Wind”) for individual and comprehensive zoning
exemptions from the operation of the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Barnstable,
Massachusetts, for a one-acre parcel of land located at 6 Shootflying Hill Road in the Town
of Barnstable. Park City Wind submitted the petition in connection with Park City Wind’s
forthcoming construction of a substation located at 8 Shootflying Hill Road that Park City
Wind is developing as part of the New England Wind 1 Connector.
Through its Final Order, the DPU directed Park City Wind to serve a copy of its Final
Order in D.P.U. 24-48 on certain Town of Barnstable entities. I provide copies of the Final
Order by both email and first-class mail.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Joshua Rosen
