I have currently watched the recording of the meeting. The West Barnstable Fire Department had contacted Attorney Lawlor in January regarding concerns with 970 Main St. West Barnstable. The issues that were discussed with Attorney Lawlor were the accessibility to the rear parking area of the property where cars are stored. Currently we have observed vehicles blocking access to that area, especially at nighttime or closed business hours. This is a concern for access for the fire department as well as our apparatus. We discussed the option of putting a gate to this area and were told that would be done. If the gate is to be locked at closed business hours, we are also requesting a to be able to open the gate for access. We also request that any dumpsters are located at least ten feet from the building. Please feel free to reach out with any other comments or concerns.
