Added Consent Agenda applications. The Barnstable Licensing Authority will hold a Public Meeting on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Barnstable Town Hall, in the James H. Crocker Jr. Hearing Room, 2nd Floor, 367 Main Street, Hyannis. The meeting will be televised live via Xfinity Channel 8 or high-definition Channel 1072. It may also be accessed via the Government Access Channel live stream on the Town of Barnstable’s website: http://streaming85.townofbarnstable.us/CablecastPublicSite/watch/1?channel=1 CALL TO ORDER – Introduction of Board Members and Staff NOTICE OF RECORDING – This meeting of the Barnstable Licensing Authority is being recorded and broadcast on the Town of Barnstable’s Government Access Channel. In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30A, Section 20, the Chair must inquire whether anyone else is recording this meeting and, if so, to please make their presence known. PUBLIC COMMENT APPROVAL OF MINUTES – January 22, 2025 NEW APPLICATIONS 1. Amend Common Victualler All Alcohol License – Change of Hours A request was submitted by Dubh Linn LLC dba The Auld Triangle, 412 Main Street, Hyannis, to amend the food and alcohol service hours from Sunday 10am-12am, Monday – Saturday 10am-1am to Sunday 8am (food) 10am (alcohol) to 12am, Monday – Saturday 8am-1am. 2. Amend Common Victualler All Alcohol License – Change of Manager An application was filed by Sea Street Café, Inc. dba Sea Street Café, 50 Sea Street, Hyannis, for a change of manager from Maria J. Sapundjioski to Silvio Iri Pieper. 3. Amend Common Victualler All Alcohol License – Change of Manager An application was filed by New England Clambake, Inc. dba Wimpy’s, 752 Main Street, Osterville, for a change of manager from Sean Richards to Jared Capen. 4. Amend Common Victualler All Alcohol License– Change of Manager An application was filed by 235 Ocean Partners, LLC dba The Break, 235 Ocean Street, Hyannis, for a change of manager from Sean Richards to Daniel Katz-Aboudi. PUBLIC HEARINGS 1. New Entertainment License An application was filed by Mi Pueblo Inc. dba Mi Pueblo Restaurant, 577 Main Street, Hyannis, for an annual live entertainment license to include 1 live, amplified performer. Proposed hours of live entertainment are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, 9 p.m. to 12:45 a.m. 2. New Common Victualler and Entertainment Licenses An application was filed by by Hyannis Entertainment LLC dba Entertainment Cinemas, 793 Iyannough Road, Hyannis, for an annual common victualler license and entertainment license to include 12 cinema screens. Hours of operation are daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Proposed manager of record is William Hanney. 3. Amend All Alcohol Common Victualler License – Alteration of Licensed Premises An application was filed by MCRH Hyannis LLC dba Roadhouse Cafe, 488 South Street, Hyannis, to amend the seating configuration of the front bar-room area. The seating count will remain the same. The applicant also proposes extending the hours of operation between June 1 st and September 30th to open at 9:30 a.m., daily. 4. Transfer Annual All Alcohol Common Victualler License An application was filed by filed by La Bella Cuenca, LLC dba La Bella Cuenca, 366 Main Street, Hyannis, for a transfer of the annual all-alcohol common victualler license from Risto Inc. dba Adelphi Bistro to La Bella Cuenca, LLC dba La Bella Cuenca. The proposed alcohol manager is Sergio E. Montero. The proposed hours of alcohol service are daily from 11:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Seating for 81 inside and 64 outside. 5. Transfer Annual All Alcohol Package Store (§15) An application was filed by Palanchok, Inc. dba Seven Gs Liquor Shoppe, 990 Main Street, West Barnstable, for a transfer of the annual all-alcohol package store license from Seven Gs Discount Liquors, Inc. dba Seven Gs Liquor Shoppe to Palanchok, Inc. dba Seven Gs Liquor Shoppe. The proposed alcohol manager is Jyoti KC. The proposed hours of operation are Monday through Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday through Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. 6. Transfer Annual All Alcohol Common Victualler License An application was filed by Amilia Inc. dba Amilia Taqueria Bar, 477 Yarmouth Road, Hyannis, for a transfer of the annual all-alcohol common victualler license from Willows Hospitality Group, LLC dba Woolfies to Amilia Inc. dba Amilia Taqueria Bar. The proposed alcohol manager is Ilija Sapundjioski. The proposed hours of alcohol service are Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Indoor seating provided for 58 and outdoor seating for 11. CONSENT AGENDA 1. Renewal - Special One Day Malt License An application was filed by Cape Cod Maritime Museum, 135 South Street, Hyannis, to host History on Tap, wherein they propose to serve malt beverages on the following dates and times: March 6, 2025, March 20, 2025, April 3, 2025, and April 17, 2025. All events are scheduled to take place between 5pm and 7pm. Current TIPS certification is on file. 2. Renewal - Special One Day Entertainment License An application was filed by Hyannis Film Festival, to hold the March Film Series – Movies #1, at Smith Family Beer Garden, 541 Main Street, Hyannis, for a special one-day entertainment license on March 6, 2025, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. 3. Renewal - Special One Day Entertainment License An application was filed by Hyannis Film Festival, to hold the March Film Series – Movies #2, #3, & #4, at 320 Main Street, Hyannis, for a special one-day entertainment license on February 27, 2025, at 7pm, March 13, 2025, at 7pm, and March 20, 2025, at 7pm. 4. Renewal - Special One Day Malt License An application was filed by Osterville Village Library, 43 Wianno Avenue, Osterville, to host Swing into Spring? Music and Dancing, a family night of fun, providing wine service and live entertainment, on March 8, 2025, at 6:30pm. LICENSING UPDATES 1. Licensing Authority & Division Update 2. Police Department Updates Next two meetings: March 26, 2025 & April 23, 2025 MATTERS NOT REASONABLY ANTICIPATED BY THE CHAIR The list of matters, are those reasonably anticipated by the president/chair, which may be discussed at the meeting. Not all items listed may in fact be discussed and other items not listed may in fact be discussed and other items not listed may also be brought up for discussion to the extent permitted by law. It is possible that if it so votes, the sub-committee may go into executive session. For your information the section of the M.G.L. that pertains to postings of meetings is as follows: Except in an emergency, in addition to any notice otherwise required by law, a public body shall post notice of every meeting at least 48 hours prior to such meeting, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays. In an emergency, a public body shall post notice as soon as reasonably possible prior to such meeting. Notice shall be printed in a legible, easily understandable format and shall contain: the date, time and place of such meeting and a listing of topics that the chair reasonably anticipates will be discussed at the meeting.
