Delineated on 11/11/2024 three wetland resource areas which included the salt marsh, the
Mean Annual High Water Line (MAHWL), and the coastal dune. The boundary of the salt
marsh TEC B-1 through TEC B-25 and TEC B-100 through TEC B-103 was delineated with
pink pin flags and the boundary was located along the edge of the Spike Grass and
Saltmeadow Cordgrass. The MAHWL was delineated along the edge of the wrack line with
Arctic Blue surveyor's ribbon with flags TEC A-1 (Start) through TEC A-25 (END). There were
multiple wrack lines identified but the one in the middle appeared to have debris from this
year. The ones that were a bit higher contained well decomposed material which are likely
from the Nor'easters from a couple of years ago as I have found this along many of my
coastal delineations. I did download the MassDEP "Mouth of River" delineation layer which
is on the attached sketch. My flag ends a short distance before the DEP river mouth
boundary so I would just connect my last flag to the green line on the sketch as it will follow
the same elevation of the MAHWL in that area as it is a short distance. The coastal dune
was delineated along the edge of the dune vegetation which seems relatively close to the
MassDEP Wetlands GIS Data Layer and the US NRCS soil data. The sand may have blown in
the past decade during the storms as that is where the gravelly fine sand and the gravelly
fine loamy sand break exists. The dune was delineated with orange pin flags from TEC C-1
(Start) through TEC C-12 (END
