On behalf of the applicant, Tighe on Bond is submitting revised plans showing proposed modifications to site improvements
within the 50’-100’ buffer to an isolated wetland area.
The property is currently under construction and the site has been cleared to the limit of work with final grading, drainage
improvements, driveway and mitigation plantings remaining in the scope of work.
The proposed driveway, for the loop access portion, within the buffer zone has been shortened and the surface material changes
from pavement to gravel. Two gardening hoop houses are proposed within the buffer. The hoop houses are open bottom with no
foundation and have french drains proposed at the drip edges to collect stormwater and convey it to a drywell.
A roofed picnic area was added adjacent to the dwelling and a landscape bin was added to store gardening materials.
No additional vegetation removal is required and a fully restored 0’-50’ buffer will in place at the completion of construction, so
no mitigation calculations have been provided.
However, the project will still yield a net reduction of building and hardscape coverage (2,112 s.f.) with the removal of the house
and hardscape within the 0’-50’ buffer .
