Below are the comments from the Waterway’s Commi ee Mee ng, 07/22/2025
1. Applicant: 260/270 Vineyard Rd LLC
Project Loca on: 260 & 270 Vineyard Rd, Cotuit, MA 02635 (map 015, parcels 006 003/004)
Representa ve: John O’Dea, Sullivan Engineering & Consul ng, Inc.
Proposed Project: To repair and maintain exis ng revetment and to extend cobble berm
HM Staff and WWC approved this project as proposed.
2. Applicant: Steven & Wendy D’Angelo
Project Loca on: 108 Long Beach Rd, Centerville, MA 02632 (map 206, parcel 005)
Representa ve: Daniel Ojala, Down Cape Engineering, Inc.
Proposed Project: Proposed fixed pier, ramp and floats
Conserva on Hearing: 07/08/2025 6:30PM via Zoom
HM Staff and WW Commi ee Did Not Approve this project as proposed. Numerous concerns
regarding overall length of the pier and its poten al to impede safe naviga on.
Addi onally, the overall length of the vessel proposed exceeds the width of Parcel 108, Long Beach
Rd. Parcel 108 is es mated to be 25’ in overall width, vessel proposed is 36.5’, this does not include
Bow Pulpit or Engines, which would put overall length at 40’ plus.
Proposed vessel would exceed parcel width and poten ally be a hazard to exis ng pier located @
112, Long Beach Rd.
