HomeMy WebLinkAboutFay Letter of OppositionDear Ms Brown,
Our family sees the home located at 49 Putnam Ave in Cotuit almost daily. It is the gem of our tiny
village, incorporating our spirit and history. This beautiful home built in 1783 has stood guard over our
harbor for centuries and reflects the importance of our original settlement. Appropriately, it has been on
the National Register of Historical Places for decades. Does this have no meaning?
The conservation restrictions placed on the property are meant to achieve the same result: preservation
of all that we as a community hold dear. Let us honor those restrictions.
Sincerely,
Barbara Fay
