I think it is ok for you to just do the continuance request to 9/9 (you will need to do another WC Form for that too). If the project was being held up by a longer continuance I would say look for someone from the town to show up at an earlier meeting, but like you said, I don’t see NHESP getting back much before the 9/9 meeting anyway and it’s not like the town is ready to start dredging right now either. Please just send another email to me and Kim formally asking for a continuance to 9/9. I will let the chair know what is going on with NHESP too. The Town needs to provide them with a landowner assent document between the Town and DCR for work at the ramp. NHESP let me know that they will still have 30 days to review once they get this signature so I don't think we'll be ready for 8/19 either. I am on PTO 8/26 & 9/2. Is it possible to put the project on the 9/9 hearing agenda? Or would it be better to see if someone from the Town can fill in? The next available continuance dates would be for 8/12 or 8/19. Either way, you should show up 1) in case the letter arrives by 6:30 or 2) if the letter doesn’t come in, we will have to continue again; it would be best if you were there to determine and agree to whatever date will be needed. If the letter is not received by tonight you will also need to supply another WC Form. NHESP reached out yesterday with some questions, mostly about TOY. Apparently, there is a marine reptile TOY that would restrict dredging in the winter. I think there may be some Barnstable DNR involvement required so I am not sure we will see their determination letter today.
