Thank you. To Whom it Concerns; Twin Brooks and Eric Schwaab have stated the situation very well indeed, in their correspondence to the Conservation Commission on the matter of the illegal dewatering of 268 Stevens St. It is hoped that the severity of public outrage has fully penetrated to all involved in the illegal fiasco perpetrated at 268 Stevens Street over a ten day period this July. The use of public funds to perform excessive and illegal acts, potentially to the benefit of a private builder’s plans for unneeded development of a four story, UN-affordable housing complex on the above site, with an 8’ water table that caused the preexisting structure to collapse, and incredibly has been approved by the town. Nor should Horsely Witten be contracted as a third party to evaluate the violations stated above. That would be a conflict of interest given Chairperson Tom Lee’s position with that company and on two town boards and that it is in of the violation of law. Sincerely, Anne Salas
