Re: Violation, Daily Non-Live Entertainment
Dear David and Jessica,
My office has been advised that Hyannis Inn is utilizing a television in the outside bar area.
While you have a daily non-live license for three televisions, the televisions were approved for
indoor use only, according to the plans submitted on February 15, 2023. This is a violation of
Licensing Authority Rules and Regulations 503-2 (a). Please have the television removed by
Thursday, October 30th. Failure to comply will result in a Show Cause Hearing at which time
the Licensing Authority will consider modification, suspension or revocation of your
entertainment license.
Additionally, I have confirmed with the Planning & Development Department that televisions
are not permitted outside due to the guidelines of the Hyannis Main Street Waterfront
Historic District Commission. Therefore, I am unable to accept a modification to your
entertainment license to allow for an outdoor television.
