Dear Members of the Planning Board,
On October 22, 2025, the Old King’s Highway Historic District Committee held a public hearing on two
applications, a Demolition Application and a Certificate of Appropriateness Application, regarding the
property located at 105 Scudder’s Lane. The Committee found that:
1. Scudder’s Lane is a designated scenic road.
2. Two portions of stone wall are to be removed.
3. Existing curb cut to be infilled with stones removed from the stone wall.
4. The existing dwelling was built in 1964. No other structure existed on the lot prior to the existing
dwelling.
Given these findings, the Committee unanimously voted to approve the Demolition and Certificate of
Appropriateness Applications as submitted. There was no public comment regarding these applications.
The appeal period has passed with no appeals filed with the Town Clerk.
