Dear Commissioners:
The Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries (MA DMF) has reviewed the Notice of Intent by WYC
Sailing Education Foundation to replace an existing boat ramp in kind within West Bay at 101 Bridge
Street in the Town of Barnstable. The applicant is proposing to either install a silt curtain prior to
installing pre-cast concrete slabs or install a cofferdam prior to pouring a concrete slab. The project was
reviewed with respect to potential impacts to marine fisheries resources and habitat. Attached is our full
review.
