I have run into a bit of a delay with this project - the Environmental Monitor notice required for an Ecological
Restoration Limited Project was not submitted prior to filing the Notice of Intent as required. It was just sent into
MEPA yesterday, so I will have to request that the hearing on this project be continued until your January 6 meeting
to allow for the required public notice period. Apologies for any inconvenience.
It is a bit unusual to have to submit a MEPA public notice when the project has already been through MEPA review
through the ENF process, but that is one of the peculiarities in the Wetland Protection Act regulations for
ecological restoration projects.
