Members of the Barnstable Conservation Commission:
I am writing to ask that the mature trees at 23 Pleasant Hill Lane be protected as part of your review of the Notice of
Intent for 23 Pleasant Hill Lane.
These trees are an essential part of the Pleasant Hill ridgeline and provide important ecological benefits, including
wildlife habitat, stormwater absorption, and protection of nearby wetland resources. Their loss would permanently alter
the character and environmental function of the site.
I respectfully ask the Commission to require preservation of these trees to the greatest extent possible and to include
clear tree-protection conditions in any Order of Conditions issued.
Thank you for your work protecting Barnstable’s natural resources.
