Dear members of the Barnstable ConversaƟon Commission I am wriƟng regarding the noƟce of intent for 23 Pleasant hill
lane in Hyannis I am, requesƟng the commission require the preservaƟon and protecƟon of the exisƟng mature trees on
this property. These trees contribute to protected resource area funcƟon, including storm water control, groundwater
protecƟon, erosion prevenƟon, and overall water quality.
Once removed, cannot be replaced. I strongly urge the commission to approve to preserve these trees to the maximum
extent feasible in accordance with MassachuseƩs wetlands protecƟon act and the Barnstable wetlands protecƟon bylaw.
