The area of change is 58 square feet and is depicted on the attached revised Sheets C2 and C4. The washed stone mulch is completely pervious and will not be used as a walkable surface but rather as a loose setting bed for a small sculpture and as such is still being considered a softscape element despite the change in materials. Even if the stone mulch were considered hardscape, it would only require an additional 232 sf of mitigation planting which is still comfortably exceeded by the area offered. An updated Mitigation Plantings Figure and Mitigation Summary Tables demonstrating compliance are attached for reference. Enclosed is a completed Form R and supporting documentation (including two (2) stamped original Sheet C2 and C4 depicting the proposed change, a check in the amount of $50 and eight (8) collated copies of the request.
