up and brick on bottom would like to cover with wood. Top railing with new railings on roof, same style. Windows, cover window
seams with wood and replace door.
Tom Doherty, what is the door material, aluminum? Color will be white?
Indri Ekasari, yes, aluminum. Will paint the aluminum white.
Laura Cronin, is there another type of material for the door or use white aluminum?
Indri Ekasari, will use whatever white would be acceptable. No business in there now. A lot of people want clothing store, but
possibly a café. No tenant as of yet.
Cornelius Cawley clarifies new lights?
Indri Ekasari, yes, new lights, but will be the same gooseneck style as there now, like for like.
Discussion regarding blue color that is proposed and what is approved.
Chair Cheryl Powell calls a 3 minute recess.
The Commission reconvenes.
Chair Cheryl Powell, Hamilton Blue is the color.
Indri Ekasari confirms Hamilton Blue color.
Laura Cronin – the door material, will you have the new door painted? Can’t be aluminum or vinyl.
Chair Cheryl Powell, we discourage aluminum.
Corey Pacheco, thought reusing the door, so if a new door – composite material, like a fibrex similar to PVC . Processed wood, and
there are similar materials like this.

Discussion Items
Consideration of a public art moratorium until Joint Guidelines between HHDC and Planning Board have been appropriated
Cornelius Cawley, this has been decided for our purposes, just the one page. We have guidelines and can utilize. Doesn’t see the
reason for this - why a moratorium, it’s in effect now.
Corey Pacheco, this is correct, have guidance may be some minor changes suggested but content is there and that’s not going to
change. Already been used for the art sculpture approved for the Maritime Museum. Just has to be incorporated into the
guidelines, more than one page – 3 pages in total.
Discussion regarding guidelines and validity - Discussion item on fence height.
Enforcement Presentation
Enforcement to be put on the next Agenda as well. Handout of the presentation that was presented to Barnstable Historic
Commission (BHC).

Corey Pacheco, Jim Kupfer wanted the Commission to know that potential language to potentially amend your ordinance regarding
more detailed visuals for new construction to be done in the near future.
Town Council Liaison Charles Bloom – purpose for this is that you really can’t tell where everything fits and how proposed
development will look. Perspective.
