Hello Aaron,
I was unable to find Jake Dewey's email address on the town website, so I kindly request
that you forward this document to the relevant person for distribution to the ZBA board.
Attached are the specifications for a new fire truck ordered by the town of Swampscott,
which exceed the dimensions of the older model trucks owned by COMM. Would the board
consider confirming with Chief Hill the dimensions of current and future trucks,
ambulances, and upcoming vehicles purchased by COMM? At the CCA annual meeting,
we were told the purchase of new trucks takes an average of 4 yrs and COMM has trucks
on order.
Would the entry from 195 Phinney’s Lane accommodate a fire truck, ambulance, and
emergency personnel simultaneously? I do know the dimensions of the entry from 195
Phinney’s Lane, and this may be a question for Chief Hill.
