Re: Application to install solar panels at 34 Second Way on the 2/11 agenda
To the Committee:
We live at 31 Second Way, directly across the street from 34 Second Way Parcel 003 where an application has been
submitted for the installation of 9 solar panels and related equipment.
We are writing in regard to this application at 34 Second Way, Map 319, Parcel 003 for the installation of 9 mounted
solar panels. We are not opposed to the installation of solar panels on the roof with the exception of three panels
and battery master equipment which will all be visible from the street. They will also be visible to every interior street
facing room in our house. We object to the panels and equipment visible to the street and request they be denied
or relocated elsewhere where they are not visible. This would be in keeping with the precedent established by the
Commission for previous installations at other homes on the street where panels are not visible thus preserving the
character of the neighborhood.
