Good afternoon,
After a detailed conversation with Karina and a FULL description of the timelines for this establishment,
I have been able to conclude the following. First, this establishment HAS been in place for several years
prior to the 248 CMR MA Plumbing Code changes (12/2023). Second, NO PLUMBING was conducted to
“trigger” any other required bathrooms for this establishment as they DO CURRENTLY have 2 Restrooms.
One is ADA Accessible, the other is not. The required Fixture counts are compliant for the pre 2023
revision. Based on this, the restrooms can be used for up to but no more than 50 occupants (Patrons
Indoor/Outdoor, and StaƯ combined). Said Restrooms should be labeled as such: “Restroom” one with
an ADA Placard and the other just as “Restroom”. NO Male/Female designations are to be given.
