Reference: Definitive Subdivision No. 831 – 145 Barnstable Road, Hyannis, MA
On behalf of the Planning Board acting under the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts,
Chapter 41, Sections 81A, through 81GG, Subdivision Control and all amendments thereto and Chapter
801, Subdivision Regulations of the Town of Barnstable you are hereby notified of a Public Hearing on
Monday, May 11, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the James H. Crocker, Jr. Hearing Room located in Barnstable
Town Hall, 2nd Floor, 367 Main Street, Hyannis, MA.
The public may attend and provide comment in person. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the
application for a Definitive Subdivision at 145 Barnstable Road, Hyannis MA, Subdivision No. 831. The
plan for this subdivision is entitled “145 Barnstable Road, Hyannis MA 02601”, prepared for The Cape
Companies, prepared by Baxter Nye Engineering & Surveying, dated April 7, 2026. The subject
properties are shown on Assessors Map 327 Parcel 244-001.
The application is submitted by The Cape Companies, LLC. The request is to subdivide the property at
145 Barnstable Road, Hyannis MA 02601 into two lots and a private road. To create the Definitive
Subdivision of Land, the applicant has requested certain waivers to Chapter 801, Subdivision Regulations
of the Town of Barnstable as defined in the application provided.
