Dear Members of the Board and Ms. Brigham,
This correspondence supplements application materials submitted on behalf of
Church of the Redeemer CC, Inc. (the “Church”), in connection with its request for a
Modification Permit from the Town’s parking requirements for its proposed exempt use of
Unit 19 at 11 Enterprise Road, Hyannis.
As described in the application materials, modification of the Zoning Ordinance’s
parking requirements is justified as the Church’s peak parking demand is for its Sunday
morning services at a time when most of the other businesses are closed and, therefore,
not using the 90-space parking lot. As evidence, I enclose a list of the businesses operating
in the 21 units on the subject property, together with their hours of operation. See Exhibit
A. As indicated thereon, 17 of the 21 units are closed on Sundays1 resulting in just 4 units,
including Unit 19, sharing access to 90 parking spaces. Put simply, there is plenty of
available parking on Sunday mornings to support the Church’s intended use of the
premises.
1 For the purposes of this correspondence, Unit 8, which is currently vacant is included in this count.

In further support of the request, I also enclose letters signed by 7 of the businesses
operating on the property confirming that they have no objection to the Church’s proposed
access to the additional parking spaces on Sunday mornings. See Exhibit B.
