years. This will be our 45th year playing at Hyannis Golf Club, going back to
1982 when this event started.

The back deck on the 2nd level of the clubhouse adjacent to the restaurant.

This information is being provided to support my application for a special, one-day license
to serve beer and wine at a golf event being held at Hyannis Golf Club on Saturday, June 6,
2026. The event will be attended by 30, Bentley University alumni who are all over the age
of 65, and will include dinner, drinks and awards starting at 5PM and ending at 6PM ET.
This license is being requested as a backup plan in case the Portside Tavern group that’s
running the restaurant and bar at Hyannis Golf Club does not obtain its liquor license in
time for our event on June 6th.

Below is a photo of the back deck at Hyannis Golf club, where the dinner and awards
ceremony will take place. There are stairways and entrances to the 2nd floor deck on both
ends of the building.
Security Plan
All of the 30 attendees at this event are Bentley alumni from graduation years 1979 – 1981
and are over the age of 65. ID’s will be checked before alcohol is served. No open alcoholic
beverages will be permitted to be taken from the premises after the event.
TIPS Certification
The Portside Tavern staff who are catering the event will all have taken TIPS training.
Proof of Liquor Liability
The Portside Tavern staff who are catering the event will assume liquor liability, since they
will be serving the beer and wine.
