Dear Chairman Dewey and Members of the Board:
Our Lady’s Guild is pleased to strongly support Catholic Charities application to improve St
Joseph’s Shelter to benefit homeless men and women in Hyannis with a new site on 460 West Main
St. Hyannis.
Our Lady’s Guild has had a long-standing connection with St Joseph’s Shelter providing meals to its
guests. Our Guild is composed of women from Our Lady of Victory, Our Lady of Assumption, and
Our Lady of Hope Parishes. Our commitment to this service is a reflection of our mission to
support the disenfranchised in whatever way is needed.
Over those years we have known St. Joseph’s to be a good community partner and their guests to
be grateful for the housing, food and social service support offered to assist their ability to lead
healthy and secure lives.
