Hello Anna,
I would like to express my opinion of the proposed relocation of the homeless shelter on
Winter Street to a new one on 460 West Main Street, Hyannis.
I believe that i share the same view as the majority of residents locally and cape -wide that
this is an inherently unsafe location for this type of community service.
I am acutely aware of the need for a safety net for those that are most vulnerable in our
society and I believe that there may be newer and more effective approaches to the
challenges of vetting the various backhistories of the homeless population.
