Applicant Signature* Trevon Robinson May 28, 2026 Cape Cod Caribbean Carnival 2026 Detailed Event Narrative Prepared for the Town Special One-Day Alcohol License and Event Application Organized by United Voices of Jamaica Event Overview United Voices of Jamaica, a registered nonprofit organization based in Massachusetts, respectfully submits this event narrative in support of the application for a Special One-Day Alcohol License and related event approvals for the Cape Cod Caribbean Carnival 2026. The event is a family-friendly outdoor cultural festival celebrating Caribbean heritage, music, food, dance, and community engagement. Event Details The event is scheduled for July 19, 2026, in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, with an anticipated attendance of approximately 100 guests. The event grounds will be fully enclosed with temporary perimeter fencing to create a secure and controlled environment. Event Activities Activities will include live DJ entertainment, Caribbean cultural music, food vendors, beverage service, vendor booths, VIP seating areas, and community engagement activities. The site will include a main entrance and ticketing area, emergency exit, vendor areas, designated bar service areas, portable restroom facilities, and staff operations space. Alcohol Service & Management Alcohol service, if approved, will be limited to designated bar areas within the enclosed event premises. Valid government-issued identification will be required for all alcohol purchases, and only individuals 21 years of age or older will be permitted to purchase or consume alcohol. Wristbands may be issued to verified attendees over 21 years of age. Bartenders and servers will maintain TIPS certification.
