Good Afternoon Ed and Kim,
On behalf of the Town of Barnstable, we are requesting another continuance for the Craigville Beach Road Bridge
Repairs Project, DEP File No. SE3-6406, from this afternoon’s Conservation Commission hearing on September
15th to the next public hearing on September 29th.
We are still awaiting response from MassDMF and have been checking in with them weekly. Their diadromous
team has been in the field, hence the delays. They have confirmed they will have responses prior to the next
hearing on September 29th. Their feedback is needed to continue our meaningful discussion with the Commission
relative to turbidity curtain and fish passage comments.
Please let us know if we need to provide an updated copy of the Waiver Request Form.

Good Morning Ed and Kim,
On behalf of the Town of Barnstable, we are requesting a continuance for the Craigville Beach Road Bridge Repairs
Project, DEP File No. SE3-6406, from this evening’s Conservation Commission hearing on September 8 to the next
public hearing on September 15 at 3:00 p.m.
Following the last hearing, we reviewed the Commission’s comments and have been corresponding with
MassDMF to explore options to satisfy both the Commission’s and DMF’s comments. This consultation is still
ongoing, and we would like to have the benefit of that additional feedback before the next discussion with the
Commission. DMF has indicated they will get back to us by early next week.
