Stephanie Feare, this is always there, the white background Chair Cheryl Powell asks for any public comment. None. Tom Doherty, is this a vinyl decal? Is this prohibited? Kevin Matthews – because this is a church and not a store front, inclined to allow this. Alan Feltham, it’s the decal material and not a physical sign that hangs with vinyl. Carved sign. Sign shown. Double sided and hand painted. 6 sq. ft. in total. Alan Feltham, urethane is vinyl, other than wood what would be allowed? Kevin Matthews, wood or PVC, don’t remember an HD Foam Board. Chair Cheryl Powell, can another type of material be used? 3 Joe Scott, industry standard for last 15 years, almost 90% of carved signs are made of this now. Doesn’t rot like wood does. PVC can only get 1 inch thick and the carving runs through. Alan Feltham, what is the color of material? Joe Scott, like an off yellow color – but not seen. The sign is a light green color/being proposed. And will have pink pastel colors as the business does. Corey Pacheco, the Commission has approved this material in the past. Chair Cheryl Powell, color confirmation if going to be a light green, not in our paint colors? Joe Scott, don’t have a paint color to show. He shares screen to show picture. It’s a light green with a pastel pink. Bracket is pre existing – going to paint the same color as the sign. Will use the existing brackets. This sign material will hold up to the weather very well. David Wrenn, why this over the PVC? Joe Scott, the carving and the inches that go in to carve, will almost push through the sign. Can drop a piece off to the office. Discussion regarding the material for the sign Alan Feltham, does sunlight cause any warpage to this material? Joe Scott, no doesn’t warp at all, very rigid. Will need to repaint in 10 years probably. Outside edges hold up well. Chair Cheryl Powell opens public comment. None. Chair closes public comment.
