Hardship / Financial Cost
1). We are attempting to sell our house, closing on 9/25
if I secure a Variance.
2). Cost to move the pool 6” would be approximately
$70,000. If equipment would be capable?
3). Moving cost would relate to multiple factors
Equipment’s ability to get in back
Crane Necessary to lift pool
Cracking the tile work and cement around the
pool,
Digging up to access pipes and pool hooks
Moving pool with crane
Repairing entire area.
Replacing fencing

Association owns the land behind and along side of
home

Detriment to Others
1). The back yard and left side yard are abutted by the
Association buffer land. 10’ rear and 50’ side.
Beyond the buffer zone is all Environmental
that cannot be built on.
2). The is “NO” visual sight of the backyard to anyone.
3). Neighbors have submitted this memo with no issues.
4). Gil Schipani, President of Assoc. has submitted this
this memo with no issues.
5). Visual appearance from front and back are all private
with NO potential building capabilities to yard.

Asking for a Variance on Setback. Current special permit of 7’6”, pool at 7’
Complexity of pool placement was significant. Topography and fill
Significant cost to moving the pool and possible loss of sale of house
Neighbors and Association have no concerns about Variance.
