Hello,
My name is Elizabeth Doriss and I have lived at 1685 Main St., West Barnstable for the last 50 years.
I am writing in behalf of EdithTonelli and her application to convert her historic barn into an ADU for her
daughter and husband.
I have am quite passionate about her barn and am in total support of the renovation into an ADU. I also
had a historic barn that, unfortunately, had to be razed so I hold this barn in special regard.
Converting it into an ADU seems a logical move for all involved.
In the climate of limited housing on the Cape, it gives her daughter and family a place to live while
setting up her new veterinary practice. It also allows for their support of the 24 hour care of her severely
disabled brother needs.
With this in mind, I wholeheartedly urge the board to vote in favor of this application.
