HomeMy WebLinkAboutSchaefer Letter of SupportDear Erica,
I am writing to support the demolition of the house at 46 Washington Avenue in Hyannis
Port, MA. This house has no historic value and could be replaced with a house that would
add to the beautification of Hyannis Port. The Alversons have done a wonderful job of
restoring and preserving the two houses next door and with the help of Craig Ashworth of
EB Norris, they would be able to build a house that would be in keeping with the street and
neighborhood. It seems that the house needs to be moved closer to the street to be in line
with the other houses. We live right around the corner from Washington Avenue and
already have seen improvements being made with respect to the yard and landscaping.
Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
Ruth and Garry Schaefer, 106 Longwood Avenue, Hyannisport.
