Dear Members of the Board :
Pursuant to § 801 -5 Waivers , the following waivers are respectfully requested
§ 801 - 13 Sight Distance at Road Intersections : Required Sight Distance 350 ft .
For justification see earlier waiver request memo , short road with clear visibility to ends etc .
§ 801 -24 . A( 1 ) ( a ) [ 12 ] and [ 13] Location and number of soil logs . There are three test pit location
shown on the profile plan and detail sheet , the soils were found to be very consistent across the
site , and have excellent drainage properties . The soils are mapped CdB - Carver Coarse Sand
across the entire upland portion of the site , and the glacial outwash plain deposits of coarse sand
and gravel do not vary, in my engineering judgement, additional testing on multiple points
between the testholes shown is not necessary, so a waiver from additional testing is requested .
§ 801 -24 . a ( 1 ) ( a ) [ 18 ] Tree Map . Per 801 - 1 5 the Board may require a Tree Map in special
instances , but since this entire site was cleared through the 1950 ' s , there are only typical pine
and oak second growth trees on the site , so to the extent a waiver is needed , it is hereby
requested . An aerial photo from 1952 is attached on the next page for quick reference .
