The original permit was approved for one horse, due to the lot size. It was noted that you have increase the number to four horses. Please remove three of the horses so that only one is stabled on the property. If you have any questions please contact the inspector, Marybeth McKenzie, during her office hours, Tuesday through Friday 8:00-9:30 or Tuesday through Thursday 3:30 to 4:30. PER ORDER OF THE BOARD OF HEALTH Thomas McKean AGENT McKenzie, Marybeth To: McKean, Thomas Subject: 13 Trotter's Lane, Bonavan Stabale Tom, I just wanted to keep you updated about 13 Trotters Ln, in MM.They are approved for 1 horse and they have 1 horse and 3 minis during the months of May-October.The horses are off property most of the time at fairs and pony rides, so I'm told by the owner. I sent them a letter to reduce the horses to one or apply to zoning for a variance. Well I guess she did contact Robin because Robin came and spoke to me about the issue. Robin,told her that it is very cost prohibitive to apply to the zoning board of appeals and that she is not going to say that it is OK, but that she will not be pursuing the issue unless a complaint arises. I had already notified Debbie Bonavan about removing the horses so I will leave it at that unless I receive any complaints in the future. Let me know if you would like me to do anything differently.
