Dear Mr. Perry:
The Cape Cod Chapter, NRHS is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization.
We operate the West Barnstable Train Station and Historical Museum on 2469
Meetinghouse Way, West Barnstable.
We request permission for a sign permit for two portable signs to be
displayed from May 1 through October 31 annually. The first sign is a wooden
A-frame sandwich board sign [30 x 40] "Scenic Train Ride Saturdays 11:50" to be
displayed on the front lawn at 2469 Meetinghouse Way, West Barnstable, every
day during the week. This is at the West Barnstable Train Station, our
headquarters. The second sign is a smaller "real estate" type metal sign "Train
Rides Today 11:50" to be displayed at the corner of 6A and Meetinghouse Way
near the town signboard on the grass on Saturdays only during our operating
hours. See two photos enclosed.
If you have any questions, I can be reached at Tel. #508-759-3451.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter,

Re: SPR-022-97 Barnstable Station Artworks , 2469 Meetinghouse Way,West Barnstable
(155/043). Proposal: The existing train station building will be utilized as
retail outlet for artisan goods. On Lombard property.
Dear Ms. Bortolotti,
The above referenced proposal was reviewed at the Site Plan Review meeting of April 17, 1997
and continued in order for issues to be resolved regarding a lease from the Town and the testing of
water. Due to die time which has lapsed, this application is closed. If, at a future date, you would
like to pursue the proposal again, a new Site Plan Review application must be submitted.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to call.
Respectfully,
Ralph Crossen
Building Commissioner
