RE: 65 Inwood Lane; Map 226 Parcel 148 Dear Mr. Gravelle, Per your request, we designed a septic system for 7 (seven) bedrooms and no garbage grinder for your Inwood Lane property. As part of the permit, there is a requirement to provide house plans showing the 7 (seven) bedrooms. Given that there were no house floor plans showing the 7 (seven) bedrooms, your contractor, Betterwood Homes of Dennis, penned in two future bedrooms in the basement area of the home. However, when.the health agent saw the house plans, it was noted that there could not, per code, be bedrooms below grade. The purpose of this letter is to make you aware of this issue. I have attached a copy of the CMR: Department of Public Health 410.402: Grade Level for your files. Since the 2 (two) extra bedrooms were future bedrooms, when the time comes to add them/build them, you will be required to provide house plans showing the proposed location of these rooms.
