Pursuant to our telephone conversation with Yx Bartel this AM,
we have appended herewith three sets of prints for the proposed
storefront upgrading of the above referenced project, for your
review and approval.
May we request that you contact us at your convenience if anything
is deficient in our documents,at 227-5364® We shall respond
immediately to any deficiency noted.
It is our intention to solicit interest from general contractors
and after construction contract award, require the general
contractor to make formal building permit application through
your office.

in a manner subject to approval by the Architect and the

the State Building Code, State Plu;nbing Code, State Sanitary
Code, Massachusetts Electric Code, local requirements of the
Town of Barnstable and its building cammissioner, and specific

9. All color selections shall be as selected by the Architect.
10. Any conditions which occur and which are not in conformity
with these Specifications and related Drawings shall be brought
to the immediate attention of the Architect for resolution.
11. All dimensions are approximate and are intended to reflect
the best judgment of the Architect from a field condition
z survey. Dimensions must be verified in the field by the respective
Contractors prior to ordering and/or installing -materials,
12. The Contractors shall adhere to all statutory insurance
0 requirements for work of a similar nature in the commonwealth
as well as to specific requirements of the Owners.
z 13. All labor and materials shall be guaranteed in writing to be

60. All interior wall and ceiling surfaces dch'are extended to
accommodate the new work shall be primed and painted one coat
to match the existing color, as close as possible. Where other
w than painted surfaces must be extended, each specific surface
material shall be extended as necessary, matching as close
as possible the texture, thickness, fastening, surface color and
the like.
J _ 61. Where existing columns are covered with metal protective material,
this material shall not be removed until directed by the Architect.
62. All new storefront aluminum stall receive sealant along the
L full perimeter of aluminum to abut ti material, both interior
S and exterior.
63. Color of sealant shall be as selected by the Architect. It is
anticipated that sealant shall be gray adjacent to aluminum
and clear adjacent to glass.
64. New brick shall be submitted for Architect review and approval
prior to installation. New brick shall match existing as
closely as possible.
z 65. All existing wiring, piping, telephone and security wiring,
QD devices and accessories which Waist be extended, modified,
w relocated, redirected or otherwise changed to accommodate the
new work shall be thuslyialtered by the GC under this contract.
