Background
The subject building at 430-438 Main Street, known as the “Acme Building” was constructed in 1950, as
a two story commercial structure with a flat roof, minimal detail and developed for multiple tenants. A
rear one story addition was added later. A small alley is shared between 438 Main Street and 442 Main
Street, which is the subject of this application.
Proposal
The Applicant proposes to create a community art wall on the side of 438 Main Street between Main
Street and North Street. The space will be approximately 64’ by 8’. The wall will be affixed over top of
the brick wall with plywood panels that can be removed and replaced at any time.
The Commission may wish to request additional information as to how the wall and the space needed for
the painting of the wall will function on a day to day basis, such as needed storage facility for materials,
trash receptacles, added security lighting, etc.? Specification for those items would also need to be
reviewed by the Commission, if applicable. Additionally the Commission may wish to confirm if there will
be a consistent theme, color palette, and timeframe of completed sections.

Paul Mazzeo - 435 Main Street
Background
The subject building at 435 Main Street is the front portion, closest to Main Street, of an “L” shaped
building. The building was constructed in 1960 with a brick façade, poured concrete foundation, and a
flat tar roof.
Proposal
The Applicant proposes to replace nine existing windows on both the north and west of the building as
well as two doors on the west side of the building. The proposed replacement windows are to be white,
vinyl, double hung windows, in the the same size and location as the existing. Both proposed doors are
to be a six panel hollow metal doors.
The Commission may wish to discuss existing versus proposed materials for both the windows and doors.
As well as confirmation of the proposed door color.
Dhaval Prajapati – 259 Main Street
Background
The subject property at 259 Main Street is a late 1960’s three story motel with varied siding and a flat
roof. The property has a large side overhang and outdoor pool and sitting area.

Proposal
The Applicant proposes to add a long privacy fence around the outdoor pool amenity. The fence would
face Old Colony Road. The specifications call for wood materials and the example showed a white color
being used.
The Commission may wish to confirm color and materials as well as the exact placement on the Site the
fencing is proposed.
