Sewer Acct # 3959 A 301 -253 Of 0 i a I o o o i 15 Maple Avenue Hyannis, MA 02601 January 30 , 1989 Board of Health Town of Barnstable 367 Main Street Hyannis , MA 02601 Attention : Ms Donna Miorandi Re : 25 Alden Way, Hyannis , MA 02601 Dear Ms Mirorandi In response to your inspection of the property listed above on January 24 , 1989 , please be advised that the electrical work has been requested to be done by Roger Maderios who was recommended by Psis Nancy Duffly of the Housing Assistance Corp. i Damage to the locks of front and rear doors have been repaired more than once since Ms Caton took occupancy. Said locks were in proper working order before she moved in and this can be verified not only by the Housing Assistance Corp. Inspector but also by the Peal Estate Agent who had shown the property many times from Sept . to November 16 , 1989 . Although I have been advised by several people on either 707 or Section 8 housing programs that thermo plastic is acceptable in lieu of storm windows ; I had also offered the use of a travers rod for thermal drapes but Ms Caton said she would put up the plastic . Ms . Caton also had the application for Cape Weatherization in an;.ple time to apply for same ; but failed to do so . Since the property in question has been use,4only for family use we are not in a. position to hire a full time maintenance person nor can we send repair servicemen evenjweek to repair damage caused by the tenant . We have been more than happy to respond to reason- able requests but how can anyone provide affordable housing to those who will not cooperate?
