Box 534 Hyannis, IMA 021647 To Whom It May Concern: Hyannis Port Yacht Club received your mailing regarding registration of anyone who handles or stores any hazardous materials . Please be advised that Hyannis Port Yacht Club does not handle or store any hazardous materials. I assume the Club got on your mailing list because such organizations typically store and sell fuel or other petroleum products and Hyannis Port Yacht Club has never done so. For many years, Hyannis Port Civic Association did operate a fuel and petroleum product sales operation in Hyannis Port but this was discontinued several years ago and the tanks removed. We have gone through the list of toxic and hazardous materials enumerated on your mailing and none is handled or stored by Hyannis Port Yacht Club and for this reason, it would appear Hyannis Port Yacht Club does not have to register with the Health Department as an organization which handles or stores hazardous materials . . If you would like any further information from us on this matter, please feel free to contact us . Very truly yours, Fred B. Williams FBW:ab
