Dear Mr. Stewart:
Thank you for your time and cooperation during the hazardous materials inventory and site visit
at Stewart Painting on June 25, 2007. This letter contains information from that visit that will
help you become compliant with and remain compliant with Chapter 108 of the Town of
Barnstable Ordinance: Hazardous Materials.
Enclosed are copies of the Toxic and Hazardous Materials On-Site Inventory form from the visit
to your business and a contingency plan sample.
OBSERVATIONS:
• New waste accumulation area created for drums of waste with secondary containment.
• Spill kits hanging from the shelves to quick and easy access
• MSDS on site.Hanging near shelves of the product.
• Hazardous Materials Permit for 2007-2008 has been obtained.
• No contingency plan posted. Please post the contingency plan near the waste
accumulation area.

The Toxic and Hazardous Materials On-Site Inventory from June 25, 2007 shows that you have
approximately 1,125 gallons of toxic and hazardous materials being used, stored, generated and
disposed of at Stewart Painting, Inc., 110 D Rosary Lane,Hyannis,MA 02601 (Please see
enclosed Toxic and Hazardous Materials On Site Inventory sheet).
