There is also a list of tasks that are required by Fowler and sons; these have all been completed before October 4, 2013, before the treatment. Bedbugs are one of hardest insects to control and your help is a must in this process. Bedbugs will live almost anywhere that they can get a blood fest, but.are mostly found living around bedding materials, dresser drawers, night stands,aheadboards and cracks and crevices along carpet edging. 1) Vacuum thoroughly along baseboards paying special attention to,edging of carpet,floors, inside closets, dresser drawers and night stands. Empty the vacuum immediately into a sealed bag and discard. 2) Remove all items from dressers and nightstands wash hot dry hot and place in plastic bags. 3) Remove all linens from beds and wash hot dry hot. Do not replace the bed lines until four hours after the treatment 4) Pick up all items from floors. 5) Move dressers, television stands etc. away from walls at least 18" 6) Depending on the severity of your infestation, the inspector may require you to dispose of your mattress and boxspring. If you keep the mattress and boxspring these MUST be placed inside a special budbug proof zippered mattress cover after the treatment. 7) Be prepared to be away from your property at least 4 hours. 8) If you have fish tanks, shut of air pump and cover with a towel or plastic sheet. 9) Empty contents of the closets and put in plastic bags. Upon your return, you should ventilate the inside of your home by creating a cross breeze throughout for a few minutes. In most instances, we require a second application to be made in approximately 4 weeks. It is necessary to do the preparation again. Although this is a lot of work, it's necessary to get.control of the infestation. Keep in mind that the better the preparation, the better the results.
