Fallon 39 Bay Shore Road Hyannis, Massachusetts April 25, 1991 Mr. Joseph DaLuz Building Commissioner The Town of Barnstable 367 Main Street Hyannis, Massachusetts 02601 Dear Commissioner DaLuz: Thank you for attending the Hyannis Civic Association meeting on Wednesday evening, April 24, 1991. As you requested- at the above mentioned meeting, I am enclosing a list of residences in the Bay Shore Road area that are known to be in violation of the allowed zoning for this neighborhood. In addition, enclosed please find a copy of a memo dated April 24, 19.91 that .was given- to the Town Manager, Mr. Warren Rutherford, which further defines potential permit violations. I am sure that you would agree that the attendance at Wednesday's meeting demonstrates the anxiety of the residents for our safety and the need to curb-the continued deterioration of our neighborhood. I would like to emphasize that the main concern is to enforce the existing zoning laws and correct all violations as quickly as possible. Obviously, as evidenced by all the violations in our small section of Hyannis, I can appreciate how difficult it must be to supervise the numerous permits issued. Therefore, .I am sure you would agree, that it would be even more difficult, if not impossible, to commit to the residents of Barnstable that any further relaxing of the existing zoning could ever be properly supervised or enforced.
