exchange and indoor air quality.Materials to be used to seal your home can include caulks,foams,weatherstripping and other products,
Primary areas for sealing include air leakage to attics,basements and other unheated areas(windows are not generally addressed.) This work
will be performed at the rate of$66 per man per hour,which includes materials and testing. 12 man hours.This measure is available for 100010
rebate from the Cape Light Compact.

Our;.house does not have an apartment. We have rented
rooms from time to time but never to more than two lodgers
at any given time. Our house is in an RB zone and does

As a result of complaints received from residents of Cherry
Street in Hyannis regarding a possible illegal lodging house
at 47 Cherry Street, Hyannis , this office visited the premises
and spoke with the occupants . The property parcel number
is 309-136 and is currently owned by Philip R. and Marie'
M. Souza. Their address is 34, West Barnstable Road ,
Osterville 02655 .
Upon visiting the premises we spoke with the tenants and
entered the premises . The house is ' a two story Cape which
has been recently converted to a duplex. It appears that
an interior partition and an exterior door have been added ,
as well as a second kitchen unit on the first floor . One
section of the first floor and the entire second floor is
occupied by one tenant while the second tenant occupies
approximately. half the first floor. The basement is shared .
After reviewing the premises we determined that it is not
a lodging house . I am referring this matter to you for
the appropriate action.

Dear Mr. Daluz:
Confirming our telephone conversation of . December 4th, I enclose
herewith copies of thecC-at-alda= deed to4Th—jj p�ana arie Sociza
dated in August of 1985. Based upon my review of the sequence of
events, my discussions with the prior owner and the narrative
outlined below, it is my opinion that Lots 4 and 5 did merge, but
that Lot 3 , with a cottage placed thereon between 1950 and 1960
by Robert Hayden, preserved the separate and independent
existence of Lot 3.
As the documents show, Mr. and Mrs. Cataldo acquired Lot 3 on
October 7 , 1950 and did not acquire Lots 4 and 5 with the 1 1/2
story woodframe dwelling until March 28, 1960 . Although the
properties remained in common ownership from 1960 there existed
two independent buildings thereon and the situation would seem to
be governed by c. 41 § 81L.
