Location of a below grade gas regulator vault in this parking lot is proposed by lease agreement. This is part of a planned long term upgrade of existing gas regulation facilities. The project would allow the following: existing gas regulator vault in the Hyannis Airport Rotary will be abandoned, removed;a 10"gas main on Iyannough Road(Rt.28)will be abandoned. A gas valve vault on the corner of Rt.28 and Ridgewood Ave will be abandoned removed and backfilled. The existing above grade gas regulation facility at Cape Cod Auto Connection, 152 Ridgewood Avenue will be abandoned and above grade piping removed. This project is in alignment with future Cape Cod Commission"Hyannis Access Study Implementation"&Mass DOT plans for development of this Rt. 132 and Rt.28 corridor. Dear Mr. Ciocca: At the informal site plan review meeting held March 19, 2019, the above proposal received-an approval from the Site Review Committee subject to the following: • Approval is based upon, and must be constructed significantly in compliance with, site plans entitled"Proposed Site Plan, Hyannis Rotary Design, 290 Iyannough Rd., Hyannis, MA".two sheets, dated December 17, 2018 prepared by Process Pipeline Services, Plainville, MA; and"Hyannis Regulator Station Replacement"hand out dated March 19, 2019, outlining the project and timelines for same. • A road opening permit is required to be obtained from DPW. Coordination/consultation with DPW and Hyannis FD regarding traffic management and timing for implementation will be necessary.
