Dear Jean,
This letter is in response to your correspondence of August 14, 2013, regarding lot 296 Hyannis MA
owned by Arnold Ginsberg. Mr. Ginsberg has not applied for a permit to store and display motor
vehicles on this lot. There was a question to me of whether this could be done here, but that's it.
He submitted this in writing so that he could appeal a denial to the Zoning Board of Appeals. I have
not denied this use because we have not seen any form of a plan to deny. We have no idea of
what.he wishes to do. There has been talk of a Church, a car dealer, and some other retail uses of
which discussions I was not involved in.
Since this is in an HB Zoning District 240-25:
1) Office—but not including medical office.
2) Bank, but not consisting in whole or in part of drive-in bank or drive up automatic teller
are the only principle permitted uses. A Church would be exempt under 240-8(3). 240-25 (c) gives
the parameters of Conditional uses that are permitted after having obtained a Special Permit from
the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Before one can proceed.to the Board a Site Plan must be found approvable under 240-125 C. (2) 1
'trust this clarifies what is necessary.
