Gentlemen: After years of.water problems-on the lot at the rear of Merchants Bank,-adjacent to T. J.. Maxc receiving roan, this office has-been asked to investigate the problem. It appears that substantial amounts of rain water collect on the roof, flow through drain pipes. to the ground, deposit on the abutting lot and then flaw into the building. The laws of the Town of Barnstable state that all drainage shall be self-contained. Therefore, I respectfully request that a method be es- tablished -to direct all run off water into an approved catch basin.
