It is propped against a tree in full view of anyone walking/driving by. I have a seasonal rental property at 41 Alden Way, just two house over, and my guests who are paying $200 a night, have to walk or drive by this every day. Really, it makes the neighborhood look like a dump and portrays a very poor image of Hyannis for tourists. This morning when I went by it seems that 36 Alden Way, the house across the street from us, also has a discarded mattress on their property. Isn't the town able to issue summons for these public nuisance? It seems this should be a violation of the health code.
