I discussed the Amnesty program with Ms Fisher last week. I advised both Ms Fisher and Mark Ruby - individually that we do not rubber stamp Amnesty applications. That being said, I informed Mr Ruby that the apartment must comply with today's building code and to design the unit to satisfy the requirements of a separate unit. I am referring the contractor to the local inspector for direction on the following three items: Ceiling height—82 3/4" (from floor to joist) New above ground oil tank in utility room- —segregated area must be fire rated sheetrock?Must install interior curbs to corral spillage?
